Claire Alexander-Brown

Claire Alexander-Brown

Following in her mum’s footsteps, Claire trained at Tante Marie Culinary Academy graduating top of the class. After various gastropub and private catering jobs, she returned to Tante Marie where she trained to be a teacher. She spent 20 happy years at the academy teaching, demonstrating and eventually leading the teaching team at Tante Marie.

Her everyday teaching experience enabled her to demonstrate at some of the leading food shows in the country including The Taste of Christmas at Excel, The France Show at Earls Court and, of course, the amazing Woking Food and Drink Festival!

She is currently freelancing, sharing some classes at the fabulous Victoria’s Kitchen, developing a range of artisan biscuits and working as one half of Brady & Brown specializing in demonstrations and chef’s tables.

Claire’s exuberant creative flair, natural good humour and genuine enthusiasm for great food and presentation, motivates and encourages confidence in all aspiring chefs.

Her favourite part of her job is creating, experimenting and delivering patisserie that makes people say “Oooooo!”.
