Talk title: Putting Surrey back on the plate
Summary: At a time when the general public is as switched on to the provenance and sustainability of what we eat as it has been in recent decades, Local Food Britain’s Matthew Williams explores some of the innovative and inspirational ideas that are reshaping the way we think about food and drink in Surrey.
A keen foodie, Matthew Williams has been championing Surrey food and drink producers and their cause for well over a decade, first at Surrey Life magazine and now with the food and drink network Local Food Britain.
He has been Surrey Life’s restaurant reviewer since 2010, and helped to start the Surrey Life Food & Drink Awards. There’s nothing he enjoys more than exploring Surrey's constantly evolving food and drink scene, and telling the stories of the passionate people he meets along the way.
