English wine masterclasses

Cellar Magneval, Woking’s premier boutique wine bar will be adding some sparkle and fizz to this year’s festival by hosting English wine masterclasses from two Surrey vineyards – Greyfriars from Puttenham and Albury Estate from Shere.

At its flagship and uniquely styled wine bar in Church Path (located just a two-minute walk from Jubilee Square), wine lovers will have the opportunity to sample a selection of the vineyard’s finest wines and learn more about their journeys from the vine to the bottle, along with the complexities involved to create their award-winning blends.

Albury Organic Vineyard
Albury Organic Vineyard is situated on the southern slopes of the North Downs in the beautiful Surrey Hills, just outside Guildford towards Dorking. The vines are the traditional Champagne varietals of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, as well as some Seyval and Pinot Gris. It produce English wine of the highest quality; a still rosé and quality sparkling wines, the first of which was released for sale in May 2015.
