Heather Dougherty

Heather is an engaging and knowledgable presenter, educator and writer about all things wine. She would like to share with you some insider tips on how to buy better wine - because life's too short to drink bad wine!
Holder of a WSET Diploma in Wine and Spirits, Heather is also Chairman of the Association of Wine Educators, a member of the Circle of Wine Writers, and selected judge for major wine competitions, including the Decanter World Wine Awards and the International Wine and Spirits Competition.
In 2012, she was shortlisted for the Louis Roederer wine writing awards for her wine columns in the Surrey Advertiser. And, in 2015, she was one of three UK finalists in the European Champagne Ambassador competition and has since gained the Champagne Master Level qualification with highest honours from the Wine Scholar Guild.
