Demonstration chefs

Ally Molyneaux

Ally will be demonstating in the Tante Marie Culinary Academy Theatre on all three days of the festival, alongside her Tante Marie colleagues. She will be preparing: 'Tastes of the allotment'.

Ally has many years’ experience in teaching but prior to that, worked as a chef for the Royal Family. In 2013, Ally dug up a patch of the beautiful gardens at Tante Marie to convert it into a student vegetable garden.

She then dug up another patch to turn it into a herb garden... Within a year, the garden flourished and every Monday evening she and a small army of students can be found collecting the fruits of their labour – amazing fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs, which are used in the school!

What Ally does not know about producing beautiful produce, is not worth knowing!

Established in 1954, the Tante Marie Culinary Academy is the oldest UK independent cookery academy which is based in Woking.

Over the last 60 years, the Academy has developed an internationally acclaimed reputation for excellence, with graduates running successful businesses around the world. Find out more about Tante Marie here.
