Monica Galetti
Monica will be demonstating in the Tante Marie Culinary Academy Theatre at 11am on Saturday 5 September. On the menu will be: Samoan style ceviche.
She will also be hosting a book signing ('Monica's Kitchen') from 12.30pm to 1.30pm inside Peacocks Shopping Centre.
Monica is a chef and author of Monica's Kitchen and she is best known for co-presenting and judging BBC Two's MasterChef: The Professionals along with Gregg Wallace and Marcus Wareing.
She has worked with Michel Roux JR for almost 12 years. She trained in New Zealand and whilst travelling around Europe, sent her CV to Le Gavroche. Michel employed her in 2000 and since then she has worked her way up through the kitchen, becoming the first woman to ever cook on Meat and Fish, before setting up Le Gavroche des Tropiques in Mauritius.
